TRADE MISSION - HORTICULTURE MEXICO & GUATEMALA
12 – 19 November 2018
Jungle Talks organizes a horticultural trade mission to Mexico and Guatemala in November 2018.
This trade mission is aimed at suppliers of knowledge and technology, trading companies and other parties interested in the development of the Mexican horticultural sector (production, sales, marketing) and the floricultural sector in Guatemala (production, investments).
Company visits to the major producers of greenhouse vegetables, as well as the Agropark in Queretaro and suppliers like Koppert-CEICKOR and Rijk Zwaan will be the central elements of the mission in Mexico. In addition, participants will visit the renowned horticultural trade fair in Latin America, the Expo Alimentaria in Irapuato. At the fair, an individual matchmaking program will be organized so that participants can meet in person with selected Mexican counterparts. In Guatemala, participants will visit the newly established, modern production facilities of Ter Laak AmericaS and Holland Orchids. Both projects are joint ventures between Guatemalan and Dutch counterparts. During a network event there is ample opportunity to meet with local entrepreneurs.
You can find the draft program here.
Dutch participants to this mission can apply (please take the conditions into account) for a so-called mission voucher. In case you are eligible to receive such voucher, the participation costs (excl. VAT) are being reduced with 50%. More information about mission vouchers you will find here.
For more information on participation in this trade mission and the costs, please check the draft program. Please note that air tickets and hotels are to be paid by the participants themselves.
If you want to participate in this trade mission, please register before 6 October, 2018 via this form.
